The aim of the course is to provide trainees with theoretical knowledge and practical skills which will enable them to understand the role and responsibilities of a powered access Operator (Driver). Following successful completion of the course, trainees receive a powered access licence with the relevant categories based on the course completed (PAL Card), certificate, safety guide and logbook.
The training courses are carried out over a duration as stated above and follow theoretical training followed by a test before moving on to the practical training with a practical test on the categories being delivered.
