As a leading supplier to the construction industry, we take health and safety, and our impact on the environment, very seriously. All aspects of our operations are driven by these priorities.

Safety first

The health and safety of our staff, customers and suppliers has always been the priority for Select. Our dedicated safety team is committed to improving our safety performance, and to minimising incidents wherever we’re working.

To maintain our excellent safety record, thorough and frequent training is essential, with regular audits to ensure all our staff and managers follow the correct procedures. As a constant reminder, we’ve developed a series of ‘Golden Rules’ prominently displayed in all our locations. All our staff undergo regular health screening, and programmes such as ‘Incident and Injury Free’ help nurture an ongoing commitment to our health and safety standards. We also encourage our suppliers and sub-contractors to join our training programmes. Through this we drive a consistent approach to health and safety for all our customers.

All Select staff work to approved safety procedures in order to ensure that all operations are completed in a safe and efficient manner. We have the best training, individually tailored visual method statements and industry leading equipment, in order to ensure that everyone who works for us can return home safely every day.


At Select, we appreciate that every site or project has different environmental concerns. We therefore ensure that during consultation, we will take into account any specific environmental requirements that your site may have. In addition, our supervisors will also deliver our own Environmental Toolbox Talks during our time on site, in accordance with our Safety Management System.
