Top green credentials for Select’s new heavy plant at Chester Zoo

Select’s latest item of heavy plant has gone straight to work for the integrated Laing O’Rourke team at Chester Zoo.

The Komatsu D65PX-16 is the first in the Select dozer fleet to be equipped with a Tier 3B engine, exceeding the latest particulate emissions standards while still delivering a strong 164kW/219HP through its automatic transmission.

The advanced unit offers high productivity and low fuel consumption, matched with advanced controls and superior visibility for the operator.
